How does it work?

You submit your music to us, and our team of directors review the quality of your recordings and whether we have capacity as a label to take you on. With the Directors review process, we are checking for recording quality, so please only submit quality releasable recordings.

If the majority of our directors agree that your music is suitable, and we want to work with you then we’ll send you an offer to join the label with a full list of terms & conditions.

Do you take a cut of my royalties?

Seahouse do not take any of your royalties, that’s not what we’re about. 100% of the royalties we receive will be paid through to you. The label is a member of AIM so a small portion (10%) of our artists PPL revenue is sacrificed to them for their services, however 100% of the PPL we receive will be passed on to you. Sounds good, so what do you want from me?

£10 a month subscription fee per artist is all we ask, along with a willingness to share social media posts that promote the label and all of its artists.

What will I receive for the subscription fee?

  • An unlimited number* of worldwide digital releases through our distributor, Horus Music.
  • 100% of your digital sales from streaming and downloads
  • Stats about your sales
  • A page on www.seahouserecords.com, with live appearances and news also listed on the website and on our mailing list.
  • Inclusion on social media by Seahouse Records and shares by fellow artists, allowing you to reach new audiences.
  • Invitations to play at Seahouse live events
  • Your own page on Seahouse Records’ Amazing Radio Profile
  • Invitations to attend any music industry events that we put on or visit.
  • Improve music industry contacts through our network and other artists
  • Learn about PR opportunities through our shared experiences.
